 On a very crisp April 19 morning students, faculty and staff gathered together to cheer on Mr. Donnie and Mr. Jeff as they orchestrated one of the most exciting events at Tate's School -- the Television Drop! Students cheered as the television plummeted from high atop the climbing tower breaking into thousands of pieces below.The television, however, did not die in vain. The event was all in an effort to encourage attendees to turn off the television and do something active like ride a bike, play a game with family members, or something else other than vegging in front of the television.
The Week of the Young Child begins April 20.
