Tate's School was selected to participate in the TSIN STEM Innovative Leaders Institute. TSIN is a unique public-private collaboration between the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) and Battelle Memorial Institute (Battelle) designed to promote and expand the teaching and learning of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in K-12 schools across Tennessee.

Recently, Misty Anderson, Technology Specialist, and Kaye Simmons, Principal, attended the second of three workshops at the STEM School of Chattanooga, TN. They toured the school's Fab Lab and participated in learning around innovation, critical thinking, and collaboration.

"We are excited to bring back wonderful ideas for our new middle school!", Kaye stated. Stay tuned for more in April.
