Tate’s School is proud to honor United States veterans each year on Veterans Day. We want to recognize our brave service men and women for their dedication and sacrifice. This year the ceremony included Boy Scout Phillip Patterson, Mr. Joe Tate on the bugle, 8th Grader James Todd, and special guest speaker, Bassamba Sao, member of the Army and Tate’s Parent. Students in 1st Grade, led by Mrs. Meylink, sang the National Anthem and recited a poem. Students in 3rd Grade, led by Music Director, Mrs. Alsop, sang God Bless America.

Active duty servicemen and women, along with veterans in attendance, stepped forward during the moment of silence to be honored and also to honor those that gave their lives. This is a wonderful part of the Tate’s School tradition that we are proud and blessed to do each year!
