Tate’s Middle School graduate Phillip Patterson recently partnered with Tate’s for his Eagle Scout Project, giving back to the school that helped shape his early years.
On Sunday, November 2nd, Phillip and a team of 25 fellow scouts spent the day implementing his Trail Enhancement Project on the Tate’s Middle School campus. Their efforts included adding rock—donated by Joe Tate—for erosion control, installing trail ropes to clearly mark the path, setting timbers to define the edges, leveling the ground, and spreading fresh mulch to complete the improvements.
Thanks to these thoughtful updates, the trail is now safer, more defined, and easier to use for students who enjoy outdoor learning experiences each day.
Phillip personally raised the funds and sourced all the materials needed to bring this project to life. His leadership, planning, and dedication are a wonderful example of community service in action.
Great job, Phillip! Your hard work will benefit Tate’s students for years to come.
