Tate’s School recently welcomed a living World War II experience to campus, giving our fifth grade students a unique opportunity to connect with history in a meaningful, hands-on way. As highlighted by WVLT on April 10, 2026, the event brought the stories and lessons of World War II to life for our school community.

Experiences like this help students move beyond the textbook and engage with the past in a more personal and memorable way. By seeing history presented in a living format, students can better understand the people, sacrifices, and events that shaped our world. Tate’s School is grateful for opportunities like this that enrich learning and spark curiosity.
